His mutation caused slight disfigurement, so heavy gloves, scarves and other such clothing were needed. This strange attire alienated him from his peers. This alienation added to his unnatural level of paranoia and his solitary nature. This nature is also an effect of his animalistic mutation which we will go into detail about later. Mutant Powers: Max Stockard's mutant abilities mimic that of the family of cats. Wild cats, domestic cats - he shows aspects of the felis genus in general. His musculature is different from regular human beings - it is the interwoven and high-tension structure that all cats share, particularly the nimble and agile domestic cat. He has regenerative ablitities, like most mutants who's powers mimic creatures in the natural world. His hands are clawed - his fingernails are disfigured so that they are ridged and v-shaped like cats' claws. The bones in his hands altered as he grew into his mutation, so that a fold of skin covers his claws, and they spring out when he tenses his hands. His forearms, feet and calves, jawline and chest are covered with a light covering of gold and black dappled fur. It is thought that his coverings mimic that of the leopard. He has heightened hearing, smell, and night vision. His eyes are not slitted, nor does he have the rough tongue of a cat. He has a strong wild side that he must learn to reign in. Like the cats his mutation mimics, he can be playful, affectionate, likeable and very laid back. Also like cats, when he is angered he can feel the need to lash out. He has strong urges for isolation and he has a strong sense of territory.
