poster:Amezri Posted on: 1:22 am on Nov. 8, 2002 OOC: I hope this makes sense... The sound of water flowed into her ears. It wrapped around her brain, calming her. Her mind still stung from Xavier and Jean's attack. No - it wasn't an attack... they were trying to help... but why were they hurting her? She was in so much pain and no one would help her. "I helped you." Cassandrea looked up. "Get out." "Why don't you trust me?" "I.. don't know who to trust." She sighed as a hand gently touched her face. "Trust is for fools," Hydra sneered, grabbing Cassie by the throat. "You make me weak, girl," she said as she squeezed tighter. "I will give you one chance to survive. Join me and I will give you control of your body. When I do not need it." She was suffocating slowly as she mulled the choice over. If this was her only chance... "Yes," she heard herself croak. Hydra smirked and let her go. "We have an understanding, then. Do not fight me and everything will go easier for you." Her features softened slightly. "Rest now. I will keep you from their eyes." Cassie said nothing more, but relaxed for the first time in days. So what if Hydra was the bad guy? As long as she could take a breather, she didn't care. These last few days had been really taxing and no one wanted to let her sleep or give her time to think. She drifted to sleep, still cocooned in a protective shell of water. Just a little rest... She snapped awake as Hydra's hold over her mind tightened. "Say nothing. Do as you are directed," Hydra hissed. Cassie was deeply confused, but relaxed again as control of her body was returned to her. She blinked as she became aware of her surroundings. Water still shielded her from those on the other side of that stupid window. Breathing slowly and closing her eyes, she brought the liquid back into herself. "At least I can still control my powers," she said quietly, looking around her cell. "Cassie," a voice called to her. It was Kurt. He was standing there - inside her cell. "Kurt? What--" He shushed her and pulled her into a desperate embrace. "I'm taking you to someone who can help," he whispered, then placed a gentle kiss at her temple. "No," she growled, pushing him away. "You can't--you have to leave! She's still--" Cassie gasped in pain as Hydra stung at her mind. {Choose your words carefully, girl.} "I know. It's okay," Kurt smiled tentatively. "Come on, we have to go before they realize I've let you out." Cassie nodded warily as she followed him out of the lab. /He's taking me back to her, isn't he?/ she asked. {Of course he is. The fool would do anything for you,} Hydra smirked. Afraid that Hydra would attack her again, she said nothing.
poster:Angelface Posted on: 10:19 pm on Nov. 10, 2002 Classes here are... interesting. I got rather used to the self-study while I was on the road and having to sit through classes is a bore sometimes. Except for Ms. Munroe's history class. I love her discussions. It really brings the book to life. Of course, not everyone seems to have the same appreciation for history that I do, Sarah’s sitting in the corner, tapping her pencil and staring out the window to the gray sky, she doesn’t seem to be paying any attention to Ms. Munroe at all. Apparently I’m not the only one to notice, “Sarah, would you like to give us your opinion of Sir Francis Drake?” “Pirate, couldn't read a chart to save his life, the only reason he survived so long was that he ran into captains and sailors more inept then himself, ma'am.” Ms. Munroe nodded at Sarah before moving on to her next student, “Yes, Drake stole and plundered Spanish ships, and when he returned home to England he was knighted for it, does anyone think that it was wrong for the Queen to do so?” Normally I would have raised my hand, and added to the discussion, but I couldn’t help watching Sarah, the second the teacher’s focus had been taken off of her she resumed tapping and staring, it was no wonder she was so behind in her classes. I was actually a bit ahead of this, having been reading the material Ms. Munroe sent to me. From the looks of Sarah's text, I doubt she's opened it at all. I cannot understand what Professor Xavier is thinking keeping her here. She obviously doesn't care about school or making something of herself. I'm just biding my time here until I can apply to go to Juliard full-time. “Now everyone, this brings us to your projects, you will be paired together, and I want a poster board with two essays and two visuals, with the pro’s and con’s of Drakes actions, now the pairs are…” I wrote down the assignment as I waited to hear my name, “Angelica Jones and Sarah Carmody, Jason Young and…” She had to be kidding me, there is no way I could be expected to work with her, she tried to KILL me. Maybe Ms. Munroe doesn't know...If I just go up and explain the problem, I'm sure she'll be reasonable and assign us new partners. Assuming, of course, that there's a student in here that Sarah hasn't tried to kill. I waited as patiently as I could for the end of class, as soon as we were released I rushed up to the front, “Ms. Munroe, about the project….” “Yes, Angelica? Is there something you need clarified?” “It’s not so much about the project as the partners aspect…” “Oh. Had you arranged another partner?” “Well, not exactly, but I was hoping for a new one. You see there was an incident between Sarah and myself recently and I’m not sure I feel safe working with her.” Ms. Munroe raised an eyebrow. “Safe?” Sarah came back in from the doorway, where apparently she'd been hovering, watching to see what I'd do. “Don't worry, Angie. Do your project. I won't bother you. I'll just take the zero.” “Sarah, I can not allow you not do this project. Perhaps you two would be able to work under supervision.” Supervision? Well that depends on who’s doing the supervising, I can’t say I’d feel any safer with Wolverine in charge. Sarah and I each gave each other a look and Ms. Munroe sighed. “Let me rephrase that. You two WILL do the project - together - with supervision, if Angelica feels it will be necessary.” Why do I feel like supervision will be more necessary if I request it? Given the death-glare Sarah's giving me, I'm going to need a shadow 24 hours a day until this project is finished. I turned to her, feeling a bit braver with Ms. Munroe standing beside me than I probably should. “Don't look at me like that. I don't like this anymore than you do. In fact, I'm sure I like this far less than you do.” “Angelica if you are going to work together, I must require that you do not provoke one another,” Ms. Munroe said with a warning tone. “She doesn't need provoking. Last time she went after me for no reason at all.” “Oh right. Little Miss Perfect never does a thing,” Sarah spat. “I really think I'd rather have the zero ma'am. I doubt, Miss Priss here can keep her mouth shut and follow your orders.” Ms. Munroe seemed to transform before our eyes, “You two will work together, no one will take a zero and both of you will stop this senseless bickering.” I heaved a big sigh. Obviously Ms. Munroe was not going to be sympathetic to this problem. I'm beginning to see a pattern of this around here.
poster: Amezri Posted on:6:22 pm on Nov. 11, 2002 Kurt had gotten them out of the Institute without notice and he was now tugging her along at a brisk pace. Every so often, he would teleport them both a bit farther, careful not to overtax himself. Cassie wasn't sure exactly what was going on or what his plan was, even with her new abilities. {My abilities,} Hydra sneered in her mind. She shrugged it off, not caring about anything but the fact that she was free of that place. {You know he's taking us back to her,} Hydra taunted. Cassie said nothing, numbly watching the scenery as it passed her by. /Maybe we're going to Canada. Rogue talks about it so much... it would be nice to see./ {She'll break you again. Then both your body *and* your mind will belong to her.} "No!" Kurt stopped. Cassandrea had spoken very little once they left the Institute, just a few mumbled words here and there. "Cassie, what's the matter?" {You know you have to do.} "Yes." Kurt frowned. "Yes what? Cassie, what's going on?" Her vision cleared slightly, focusing on the man before her. "I... nothing. It's nothing." She looked around, trying to figure out where they were. Woods, it looked like. How long had they been walking? How far had they gone? He wanted to say something to her - to tell her that everything would be all right - but he didn't know that. He just had to get Cassie to the one person that could help her and hope to God that he had made the right choice. {I don't want to see Emma anymore than you do. I like it here.} "We won't let you take us there," Cassie finally said in a quiet voice. "The sooner we get you there, the sooner you'll get the help you need." He was confused by her use of 'we,' but shrugged it off. "Come on, let's go." He reached for her hand. {He's going to force you.} "No!" she recoiled. "You're going to take us back to her. She's going to hurt me again! I... I don't want to go back there. I don't want to see the White Queen!" "We're not going to the White Queen." {He's lying.} "We're not?" Kurt shook his head. "Did you really think I would take you back to her?" {He's lying. Can't you see?} "Yes." Cassie furrowed her brow. "No." She sunk to her knees, the damp grass cold against her jeans. "I don't know. Kurt... what's wrong with me?" {You're weak, little girl,} Hydra jeered. Kurt crouched down beside her, tucking a strand of indigo hair behind her ear. "You are not yourself, Geliebte. Come, I will take to a woman who can help you." {What did he bargain for her help, I wonder?} "Where are you taking me?" Hydra asked, reasserting herself. He helped her to her feet. "The Black Queen." OOC: For a bit of background info on the Black Queen, visit this site.
poster: Jen Posted on: 9:21 pm on Nov. 11, 2002 Sarah turned on her heel and stormed out of the arboretum. Something needed a good pounding and if she didn’t get down to the gym quick it was going to be someone’s face. She hissed at students unfortunate to get in her way, causing most of them to quickly out of the way. Most, but not all. Annie stepped down the hall, head banging to the music blaring from her diskman slammed into Sarah. "Somebody's not having a sunshiney day," quipped Annie, sliding the headphones from her ears. “Not in the slightest. How upset would you be to lose that roommate of yours?” "On a scale of 1 to 10? Negative 46." Sarah’s eyes narrowed and she broke out into a toothy smile - a scary toothy smile - and grabbed Annie’s arm. “Let’s go. I think she went to the library.” "Sarah? You aren't planning on doing anything that could be considered a felony, are you?" “Moment of passion and all that. I’ll get off.” "I call temporary insanity." “Good. Move it or miss the fun.” "If I know what's going to happen ahead of time do I lose the plea, or can you fill me in?" “Ms Munroe decided pairing us up for the history project was a good idea. I offered to take a zero but no - Grr… I hate this fucking place. Why can’t I just have the zero? It’s better for everyone. Miss Priss doesn’t get bothered. I don’t have to exercise supreme self-control and I just try the class for the third time next semester.” "Damn." “What am I going to do? I can’t work with that girl. Even with a chaperone, I don’t like my chances.” "I dunno, is it possible to render her completely mute?" That smile was back again. “I can do that.” "I don't doubt that, but I do wonder how that would go over with the teachers..." “Who the fuck cares? If Ms. Munroe had the brains God gave a gnat I wouldn’t be in this position.” Annie just snorted. "I wouldn't be surprised if this was another one of Xavier's little experiments. It isn't enough that he has bullshit rules, he has to fuck with the rest of our lives too." “Me either. What did he do to you?” "It wasn't Xavier specifically, it was his hairiest lackey, says I'm not even allowed in Cam's room anymore. Jackass said he'd lock me in my room." Sarah laughed. “You wouldn’t be talking about Logan, would you? And don’t push him, An, he’ll do it. He’s done it before – for different purposes though,” she added with a wry smile. "We were just sleeping!" “For now.” Annie gave her a look, "For a while thank you." “Fair enough. So are we removing some vocal cords or rearranging a face today, or what?” "I don't know, I just want to get out of here, what do you say?" Annie pulled out her keys and jangled them in front of Sarah. “I dunno. If I end up in med-lab again…” “Poor Max might lose it.” “Exactly.” "We could crank up the heat, and then head someplace with heating." Sarah seemed to consider it for a moment before grabbing Annie’s arm and changing directions. “Lay on, MacDuff .” (Edited by Jen at 9:27 pm on Nov. 11, 2002)
poster: Allison posted on:11:45 pm on Nov. 11, 2002 I gave Sarah a strange look, “Who the hell’s MacDuff?” I pounded my chest, “Me. Gallagher.” “No, you nuts. Macbeth. You know - 'out out dammed spot'?” She wrinkled her nose. “And they call me stupid.” “Hey! I resemble that remark. And no one calls you stupid they’re to scared, to call you stupid.” She shot me a withering look and I figured I'd better quit while I was ahead - and still had all my teeth. “Do you want to wait here while I go get the car or can you last long enough to get in and get it started?” “I can do it. As long as this beat of yours starts.” “If you have a problem with my care your ungrateful ass can do something else. I like you Sarah, but I like my car a whole lot more.” “Nope. The car is fine. In fact, it makes a great getaway car.” She hopped in and slammed the door. “How much trouble you think we'll be in for ditching geometry?” I turned the key into the ignition, and listened to the comforting hum of the old engine, “Less than we would if you caused bodily harm to Angelica.” “True enough.” Sarah replied, fiddling with the vents. “I don't what it is about her. Just being near her gets me all... It takes everything in me not to go after her. She doesn't even have to say a word.” “She doesn’t have to say anything, she just has to cast one of those looks and you’re ready to chuck her out the window. Believe me, I know what you mean.” “But the adults don't see it. They think she's perfect.” “She never gives them those looks,” I glanced over at her, “So where are we headed?” “I know this place in the city...” “Sure, what kind of place?” “Where I got this done.” Sarah said shifting her shirt and jeans so I could get a glimpse of the tattoo below. “Well cool, do you think they’d tattoo someone who’s underage?” “My ID wasn't that good. Besides, I'm pretty sure the guy's a mutant too.” I grinned and pressed my foot down on the gas, “I’ve always wanted a tattoo.” “You know it hurts like hell, right?” "And they use needles and it'll still be there when I'm old and wrinkly. But I don't care," I gave her a big grin. Sarah laughed. “Just hope you're saying that in an hour. I'm thinking about another earring.” "Where? The lobes don't hurt at all, but the cartilage can be a bit touchy," I wiggled my eyebrows, "Or do you use the term 'ear' ring loosely?" Sarah's eyes went wide before a slow grin began to spread. “Jubilee's navel ring is pretty cool.” “And I’m sure Max would like it.” “Hope so. So where's your tattoo going?” I shrugged, "You know the basic, small of my back or between the shoulders." “You know, we're going to have to thank Angelica for this little outing.” “Fine, I won’t smother her while she sleeps.” “We could still put crazy glue in her shampoo. Take a left up here and start looking for a parking space.” “Heh. Hail Mary Full of Grace please let me find a parking space. Aha!” I saw a car pulling away from the curb. “I'll have to remember that one,” Sarah muttered, peeking out from behind her fingers as I finished parking the car. “Catholicism can be your friend,” I winked at her. “Yeah right. Haven't seen you up on Sunday mornings. You ready?” “I’ve got three years of Catholic school to cash in, besides, God wants me to get my sleep.” I bit my lip, “Well let’s get moving.” Sarah darted out her tongue and frowned. “We don't have to do this if you don't want.” “Oh but I really, really do want. I’ve wanted this since I my first temporary tattoo came off in the bath tub.” “Then let's hit it. I don't want to miss Personal Combat.” I nodded and we got out of the car and walked quickly into the Tattoo parlor. This wasn’t my first time inside one, but before it had just been for a piercing. ; “Hello. How can I... hey Sarah. Back for another? I've got this great ring of fire I think you'll love,” the blue haired multipierced tattoo artist called out. A drawing floated over to Sarah who plucked it from the air taking a look. “Hey Brian. This is gorgeous, but not today. I think I'm just in for a piercing, but my friend here is up for something. Be nice.” He grinned. “I'm always nice. Come here, sweetie,” he said patting a chair. “What'll it be?” I smiled, this guy reminded me of my brother, “I want the Lucky Charms leprechaun, right here,” I lifted my sweatshirt and pushed down my jeans, revealing the small of my back. “Ok. Let's go.” I guess I'd spent enough time at Xavier's that the fact that the needles and ink bottles sailed across the room on their own didn't phase me, but the first touch of that needle certainly did. Ouch. I sang ‘Ninety-Nine Bottles of Beer’ to keep my self distracted. I was well into the negatives, before I felt Brian stop. A mirror came floating over and he angled it so that when I twisted my head I could see the little cartoon character. “What do you think?” he asked. I grinned, “It’s magically delicious.” Sarah just shook her head, muttering something about sugar going to my brain. “Now you have to make her naval girl,” I said as he placed bandages over my new body art. I was disappointed to see it covered but I knew it was necessary. “I won't even need to sing.” I stuck out my tongue, "It only takes three seconds doofus, you can't sing anything in that time." Sarah slapped the side of her head. “Silly me. We shoulda done her tongue first, Brian. Then we wouldn't have had to listen to her sing.” “Nahhh, the next piercing I’m getting is a bar across my cartilage,” I gestured with my fingers. “And your roommate calls me a savage.” “Oh don’t worry, she’s got plenty of names for me too.” “I'd hate for you to feel left out. How's Cam going to be about that? Not that it matters now,” She lifted her shirt as Brian slid a silver stud on to the little gun. “The tattoo? I dunno I guess he’ll just have to be careful for a little bit.” “Guess just friends is out the window. Come on. We better get back. I'm in enough trouble with Mr. Worthington and Ms. Munroe. I don't need Mr. Logan on my ass too.” “And you can show Max your pretty new jewelry.” We both paid Brain and headed back out to the car. “If I can pry him away from Freda and his parents.” She shuddered. “I'm glad they came to visit him, it means a lot to him, but damn will I be glad when they go home. His mother is freaking me out.” “Heh, Cam’s parents are in Australia, not really an issue,” I gave her a wink, “And I’m sure you could think of some way to distract him.” She grinned. “He doesn't stand a chance.”
poster:Amezri Posted on: 8:45 pm on Nov. 16, 2002 They ate lunch in silence, neither Cassandrea nor Hydra had said much to Kurt after the little bomb he dropped about the Black Queen. {She is not to be trusted,} Hydra had snarled whenever Cassie thought about it. All Cassie knew about the Black Queen was that she was not someone to be mess with. There had been scattered speculations as to what her powers were - telepathy, telekinesis, magical abilities, a draining touch like Rogue's and perhaps even immortality. She might have all of these, or she might have none of these. One thing was for sure - the Black Queen was a dangerous member of the Hellfire Club who bowed to no one. {She will want blood for her assistance,} Hydra continued. {And she will take it from your furry elf.} /Fuzzy./ {Whatever.} /How would you know anyway?/ Cassie huffed, taking another bite of her sandwich. {Everything Emma knew, I know. Obviously.} /Obviously,/ Cassie thought sarcastically. "Cassie," Kurt said finally, and cautiously. "Are you..." "What?" Hydra snapped. Cassie ducked her head in embarassment. "It's just that... you're talking to yourself," he whispered, furrowing his brow. "She isn't talking to herself, you idiot. She's talking to me," Hydra sneered. "Idiot." Kurt sighed. The sooner they got to the Black Queen, the sooner he could get this Hydra personality out of Cassandrea.
poster:nacey Posted on: 10:28 pm on Nov. 17, 2002 OOC: Sorry for the delay peoples. Can we say stupid break-up? Thought you could ^_^ Finally Mom and Dad were able to see the Professor, even though they'd already enrolled Freeds into the Institute during their talk with Cyke. Probably to talk about her new 'gifts'. To be honest, I never thought that she'd develop into a mutant like me. The thought just *never* occured to me. I guess I thought I was a freak, all alone. I guess some part deep inside never wanted her to go through what I do. I guess it's too late to worry about that, cause she's at the mansion now - fur and all. She stared up at me from the couch in my room, a scowl on her face. "Can I ask you something?" I said. She shrugged, looking apathetic as ever. "Go ahead." "Why are you acting like this is my fault?" She snorted. "You think that's why I'm pissed?" I threw my arms up. "I have no idea why you're pissed. Why don't you tell me?" She narrowed her eyes. I never thought I'd get that look from her. "When you got furry, it was the end of the world. When I got furry, it was some fucking celebration." She clenched her teeth. "LOOK AT ME. Is this ANYTHING to be HAPPY ABOUT? Huh?! NO!" I knelt in front of her. "What are you saying?" "I'm saying maybe they got all upset over you because you're the great wonderful *son*. And then they got to like it after a while. And then *I* became like you, and they were happy for that." I narrowed my eyes back at her, pointing at her with a clawed finger. "That's a fucking crock of SHIT, Fre. They're as scared now as they were then. They just don't want you frightened, and they don't want to make the same mistakes with you that they made with me. You remember how alienated I was, right?" I shook my head. "Dog's balls - they care SO much about you that they're bending over backwards to make sure you still feel good about yourself. *That* is why they make a big deal out of the fur - so you know it's okay to be different, that they still love you, no matter *what*." I met her eyes. "Do you know how many kids here would give their right arm for that? How many kids have lost their parents entirely to prejudice?" She was quiet for a moment, and then; "You expect me to be okay with how I look? I'm disgusting!" I glared at her sharply. "You never, EVER say that again, Freda." "Why, cause you're a furball too?" I shook my head. "No. Because you're special. You're beautiful, Freda, no matter what. You burn that into your brain - you remember that." Tears welled in her eyes, and I had a feeling she didn't believe it. I knew how she felt. I felt ugly for the longest time, at least till I spent some time with Rogue, and we had these long talks, and I got to like my mutation, because she taught me a valuable lesson - it could be a helluva lot worse. "Come on," I said, sitting down on the couch next to her, wrapping an arm around her. "You're going to have a great time here, I promise you that." She shook her head, tears now streaming down her lightly furred face. "I'm never going to be able to go out again. Ever." She fell into my arms, crying into my shoulder, seemingly letting it all out. Great, heaving sobs lifted from her, and warm tears fell down her face and into her fur. I sighed, patting her back. "Don't worry, Freeds. Going out is overrated." She glared at me, and I added. "Really. It is." I smiled. "Plus, being a mutant, you get to know some great hang outs." "Great," she moaned into my shoulder, bawling more, "I'm a subversive!" I smiled. "I don't know a better way to be."
poster:cammogirl Posted on: 12:50 am on Nov. 18, 2002 I was in the kitchen making myself some lunch when some familiar arms wrapped themselves around me. It was a good thing she arrived, as I was having a terrible time trying to make my sandwiches sitting down. "Miss me?" I looked up at her. "Terribly. Where've you been?" She gave me a quick little kiss on top of my head, "Sarah and I went on a rescue mission. Not as fancy as the X-men but effective." "Rescuing who?" I swore as I dropped the tub of margarine. She bent down to pick it up, "Oh you know, ourselves, Angelica." I rolled the chair back to look at her bottom, whistled, then went back to trying to make a sandwich. "What happened to Angelica, and since when did you give a toss about her?" I frowned as I slipped and managed to cut a really odd shaped wedge out of the sausage of polony. "If I were a paraplegic, I'd be fucked." "Well, it was more to rescue Angelica from Sarah and Sarah from jail time," she paused, "Can parapalegics do that? I mean, are they physically capeable of having sex? If they've got no legs or are paralyzed..." I looked to her with an unimpressed wry look, and handed her a knife. "Make yourself useful and make me a sammich, beeyitch." I slapped her on the bottom and pushed myself away from the sideboard in disgust at my inability to make a simple sandwich. She laughed, "This is going on your tab you know." "Oh?" I lifted a brow with a naughty grin. "What do I owe you?" "Oh I'm sure I'll be able to think of something." I just smiled and stroked the base of her back, to which she cringed. "Careful." "What?" I looked instantly worried. "Did you hurt yourself?" "Erm, not really, see Brain did it and..." she turned around and lifted up the back of her sweatshirt and shirt, and pushed down the waistline of her jeans. My brain span at that, as she was kinda pushing her clothes off herself, and she had such lovely hips. At the base of them however, just above the spot were the cleft in her lovely bottom would be, was a bandage. "What is that?" She craned her neck around, "It's not bleeding is it? I don't really know if they bleed or what, Sarah wasnt much help there." "It's not bleeding... whatever it is..." "It is a tattoo," she grinned. I looked up at her with a lifted brow. "Of?" "Lucky the Leprechan from Lucky Charms." I choked up, and then once I could breath again, burst into laughter. "You're insane!" "Perhaps, but I like it and it looks cool," she said sticking out her tongue. I shrugged and patted her on the bottom. "Whatever turns you on, An." "Hmm, I think you'd be much better at that than a bit of ink," she said winking over her shoulder as she worked on the sandwich. I sighed, leaning back in my chair and folding my hands behind my head. "Damn my weak body." I frowned, then. "Hey - where the hell is Max anyway?" "Sarah's probably showing him her new belly button ring, and beyond that I'd rather not know." "Belly button ring?" I wheeled around and dug under her shirt. "Have you got one?" She laughed, "Stop that, it tickles. And no, I thought about it but when every ditz in my school showed up with one, I decided against it." "Aw," I pouted. "Hey, did you see that new girl loping around? She's all furry like Max." "Yeah, and she's got Sarah's sunny disposition, did they have kids and nobody told me?" "Did you meet her?" "Didn't have the chance, have you?" "No," I replied. "Well, we'll have to find out who she is. Being nosey X-type folks and all." I smiled. "I imagine we will," she sat down gently in my lap, with the sandwich, "But I'm more interested in how bad you want this sandwich..." I gave her a hungry grin. "You are so going to find out."
poster:jen Posted on: 11:22 am on Nov. 20, 2002 Obviously Mr. Logan hasn’t heard about my class ditching because I’m still in one piece. One piece may be a bit of an overstatement. There’s nothing that won’t heal on it’s own within an hour or so. The question if that hour is: where is Max? He’s usually in his room when I get out of personal combat. This sucks. I could really use one of his back rubs and I wanted to show off my new jewelry. Oh well. He’s probably showing Freda around and introducing her to the other kids. Hope she has better luck than me in making friends. Not that I tried particularly hard. Didn’t seem important that first day since I doubted I’d get to stay long and the things just kinda got set. I’d feel really stupid going up to any of them now so I guess that’s just the way things’ll be. I don’t have many friends, but I have a few good ones and I think maybe that’s better. I think Freda will end up being one of them - once she gets over her I’m-a-mutant pissiness that is. Until then, I’m afraid Max - and the rest of us, are in for a bumpy ride. Aha! Found them. Not that I was looking. I shook my head, berating myself. Who did I think I was convincing with that lie? Certainly not myself.. I have become a sorry sorry excuse for an independent girl since meeting Max. I think more Annie time is in order lest I lose my edge and get all mooney eyed. What am I thinking? Annie’s already gone all mooney eyed. I think there must be something in the water. “Hey Max. Freda. Getting the grand tour?” Freda smirked. "Yeah. I'm still waiting to see all the top secret crap though." She glanced to Max. "What does a girl gotta do to see some hardware?" “A near death experience, most likely, but I’m pretty good with security systems.” I gave her a conspiratorial wink. “I can hook you up without major blood loss.” "Okay, we're keeping my sister *awaaaay* from the explosives and sharp objects until she's had at least a little bit of training." He frowned then, and leaned forward, giving me a sniff. "Hang on... You've been to see that tattoo guy. What did you get done?" Having Annie there… she’s my friend and all, but it wouldn’t have felt right to get another tattoo today. She took it lightly. At least I thought so. For me… for me it’s like a mark on my soul. A way of remembering. I just wasn’t ready to share that with her. I don’t know if I’ll be able to share that with anyone, but I think that’s ok. No matter how much Max goes on about needing to share my feelings and stuff I think having private stuff is ok. I think we need it – I need it. Maybe I’ll feel differently in the future, but for now I’ll keep private things private and they can all kiss off. ““No ink today.I just had my navel done. Annie was trying to convince me to pierce … other stuff, but I resisted,” I answered tugging up my tank for him to see. "Oooh..." He bent down and sniffed. "Uhm... dear me..." He stood up and there was a positively feral glint in his eyes. "I kinda like it. A lot." Then he grinned, running a clawed finger down the exposed flesh. Freda looked between us and rolled her eyes. "Geez. I'm getting out of here before I smell anything else I never wanted to..." I jumped back, flushed with embarrassment. One look from Max and I completely forgot his baby sister was standing there. Geez. “Sorry Freda. I’ll try to control myself. I dunno about Max though,” I said winking at him. He blushed too, clutching his head. "Oh my God... I'm sorry..." He looked to me and smiled, very naughtily. "We're finishing this later though." I blinked and tried to find a new topic lest I just say ‘screw it’ and drag him off to fuck him senseless. Which is what I want to do. Really really want to do. “Are your parents still here? Or did they head back already?” Max started twitching oddly. "Hehe. Yeah." Freda growled and threw up her hands. "I don't know, but I'm really gonna go find them." Freda slinked off, still shaking her head. Max grinned again, grabbing me around the waist and looking to the direction of the dorms. "Heeeee... wanna see you in nothing but your new piercing-" He couldn't say anything else, he had a chunk of my neck in his mouth. I tried to mumble agreement – hell at that moment I would have agreed to anything he wanted, but a piercing voice broke through. “Max! There you are! we've... oh” Rick and Evelyn have the worst timing.
poster:nacey Posted on: Posted on: 2:22 pm on Nov. 20, 2002 It had to be my mother. Right at the moment when I had a raging erection and the sexiest woman in the world in my arms... it had to be my MOTHER. I jumped back, sort of arranging Sarah in front of me, smiling weakly. "Hi Mom." She smirked, looking between us. "Max..." I lifted my brows innocently. "Yeah?" "Look I know this is necessity and everything, but do you really think you should flaunt it?" She lifted her brows back at me. I looked to the ceiling in feigned thought, shrugging. "Aaah... uhm..." "Aw hell, Evelyn, he's a young man with hormones, leave him alone." He waved a hand at me. "Besides, I'm sure I was worse." Mom crossed her arms and looked critically at Dad, and Freda looked like she was fit to burst into flames. "I don't BELIEVE YOU GUYS!" she wailed, throwing her arms at Dad. "I get ONE phone call from a guy and I get the three hour RUN DOWN on SAFE SEX!" There was this shrill quality to Freda's voice that made my hair stand on end, and for a moment she vaguely reminded me of Jubilee when she went nuts at Remy. Mom and Dad just squirmed. "Well, honey, it's a matter of health for Maxie-"started Mom, but Freda glared. "Dont. Start. With. That." She pointed at Mom. "What's to say I couldn't have a hormonal switch flipped and end up in the same boat, huh?" Dad just shook his head and lowered Freda's hand. "Listen, cupcake," At that endearment, Freda twitched and looked ready to throttle him. Gawd she'd gone manic. "If and when that happens, we'll deal with it. Until then..." He looked to me and nodded. "Max has to do what Max has to do." Sarah had gotten all stiff in front of me, and her voice was the tone of someone that wanted to kill if she did not get an avenue of escape. "Could we not discuss this in the middle of the common room, please?" Sarah asked quietly, but from her tone it in no way was a question. I nodded in agreement. Mom sighed, smacking her forehead lightly. "I'm sorry dear," she said, "I really am. God, you must think we're -" She fully blushed. I'd never seen Mom look so apologetic before. "Never mind. Subject changed." She looked to me. "Freda's all enrolled now, and I had a talk to the Professor too." She put her hand on Freda's shoulder. "He'll want to meet with you twice a week for a few months. Just until you're settled." Freda glared at her. "What?" "He just wants to make sure you adjust all right, Cuppie," said Dad. Freda nudged him. "Don't call me that here." He smiled at Mom and then looked back to her. "Sorry. Anyway, it's just something he does with the more physically apparent mutants." Freda turned, bottom lip jutting out in indignation. "I'm physically apparent now?!" I snorted with a little chuckle. "Hello, Freeds - did you miss the fact you were covered head to toe in fur?" Her glinting eyes met mine, and she looked like she wanted to gut me right there. "Shut UP, Claw-boy." I just giggled. "Watch it Freda, or you'll end up in my anger management class too," Sarah said rolling her eyes. She looked to Sarah, totally dead-pan. "They have anger management classes here?" She spun about and glared at her parents. "You've enrolled me in HELL!" "Just remember the hardware, Freeds," I said. Sarah laughed at that. "Oh yeah. That'll make 2 hours of 'breathe deep and think happy thoughts' worthwhile" Mom just looked between us with utter bewilderment. "Okay... What the hell are you talking about?" I looked to Mom and choked. "Dude! Get your head out of the GUTTER!" She pointed to me, and shrieked back just as loudly, "You're the one talking about hardware!" Dad shook his head and patted Mom's shoulder, "Calm down Evy - the both of you. He's probably just talking about top secret crap." "EXACTLY!" Freda and I exclaimed in unison. God. My life had turned into a whacky pro-mutant situation comedy. Sarah looked at the four of us like she was trying to decide which one of us was nuttier. Freda just shook her head. "Okay - I'm going to get a drink of soda before my head explodes." "Come back soon, sweety, we gotta sit down and have a talk!" called Mom. "Oh sweet Jesus," she growled, skulking off. "Don't blaspheme, sweety," said Dad, "You don't never know who you'll end up ass-kissing on the other side." Dad thought he was so damned funny when he said that. I just burned up in embarrassment. "So, Sarah," said Dad, smiling at her warmly. "How's your day been?" "Pretty normal. Threatened Annie's roommate. Cut geometry. Got my navel pierced. Kicked some butt in personal combat." Mom's eyes widened and she sighed like Sarah told her she bought some new tupperware. "Ohhh, can I see?" Sarah looked to Max, her eyes saying 'is she for real?' and lifted her shirt to show it off , stiffening as if she were bracing for my mother to say something rude. She just bent over a little and peered at it. "Oh, that's nice. And you have the fast healing too, right? Bet that's handy." She sighed, standing up, folding her arms and shaking her head. "My friend Sandy got one done last year. The darned thing kept getting infected. Six months it took for it to calm down." She shook her head. "I see those things and I think of belly-dancers and stuff. So exotic." She sighed, looking a little forlorn. "I'd get one done, but I'm such a wimp when it comes to pain." She laughed at herself and looked to Dad. He seemed to be considering her with one. "Besides, I'm too old. I mean, who sees forty year olds walking around with exotic body piercings?" I shrugged, bottom lip jutting. "Uhm... pimps?" Mom glared at me, laughing too. "Max! God, you're lucky you're too old for a spanking!" I could have tested that theory if these two hadn't have walked in. It kind of compounded my utter horniness that Sarah looked right at me with this - utterly sexy wry look. I looked to my parents, clapping my hands together. "Well! Sarah and I have some very important studying to do, so if you don't mind -" I pointed towards the dorms, "We gotta study. Important studying. Very." I turned Sarah around and stomped off with her. I didn't care where or how, I had to absolutely ravish her. I could hear my parents making snide comments, but I'm sure there was enough in the common room to amuse them. Maybe they could play foosball or something. "I know - it was a lame excuse," I said to her as we rounded the corner. "Lame... transparent... not nearly soon enough," Sarah said between kisses, her hands roughly tugging my shirt from my pants, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we were still in the hall. A growl grew in my throat, and we practically ran to my room. I locked the door immediately, and grabbing Sarah I collapsed onto the bed with her, pressing my lips to hers in a searing kiss, dragging the tips of my claws over her gorgeous ivory skin. "We don't do this nearly enough," I said, mumbling into her mouth. "Never enough," she panted. She seemed to stop. Pushing me up and away slightly. "Are you.. I mean your parents are still here..." I frowned. "So?" "I just thought... its a little wierd. I'm half afraid they're going come up and knock on the door." "No, no they're not going to do that," I said, sinking my lips to her neck and letting my teeth drag over that little spot, "They value their lives too much." Sarah groaned. "Good." She smiled. "Now you said something about nothing but the piercing..." I grinned and nodded, pulling at her pants. "Let's explore that, shall we?" She just smiled and lifted her hips at that, and I slipped off her clothes, mine already half dangling off my body thanks to her lovely impatience. Because of my claws, I generally tried not to handle her more tender areas, and left that to my mouth to deal with. It was more fun that way anyway. I stopped, leaning back and looking at her laid out on the bed, all pretty and naked, with the gleaming little piercing sitting in her navel. I sighed, meeting her eyes with a curl of a smile on my lips. "You are so beautiful, do you know that?" She seemed to get shy. "You don't have to say that." I smiled, running the back of my knuckles over her cheek. "I know." I kicked away the last of my clothes, and slowly, gently, laid atop of her, kissing her firmly, running the pads of my fingers over her body. She was so very precious to me, so strong and yet in my arms, sweet and vulnerable. I loved that she could be like that with me. I loved that it was me that did that to her. Heck, I just loved her. And just to remind her, I did what any male cat type person would do. I sunk my teeth into her neck. OOC: I stopped here cause I'm a bitch. I'll continue the fun soon, folks.
